Support Bexley Theatre Arts by joining the Bexley Theatre Parents
Under the direction of Rebecca Rhinehart, Bexley Theatre Arts is the comprehensive theatre program of Bexley City Schools that develops students in grades 1-12 as leaders, performers, collaborators, and technical artists. With around 400 student participants in more than a dozen shows annually, Bexley Theatre Arts showcases and advances student artistry in its many forms-on stage and off. In addition to exploring the best in classic and modern theatre works, Bexley Theatre Arts fosters a culture of peer leadership and mentoring, creativity and problem-solving, curiosity and continual learning, inclusion and respect, and copious amounts of laughter and fun, all in a supportive environment affectionately called the Theatre Family.
The Bexley Theater Parents mission is to deliver support and assistance to all involved in Bexley's theatre program in order to ensure a positive, productive and rewarding experience. Please go to the Bexley Theatre Parents website to learn more!
Bexley Theatre Arts was founded by past Superintendent Mike Johnson in 2001, and it is one of a very few public school theatre departments in Ohio that offer theatre education for students in grades 1-12. Go to the History page to look at past productions.
