At every audition, my belief in the tremendous talent of students at Bexley City Schools is reaffirmed, and the auditions for this musical were no exception. Absolutely no one did poorly, and the acting, singing, and dancing talents displayed were simply FABULOUS! All students who auditioned should be commended for having the guts to go up on that stage in front of so many people and do such a great job. Casting this musical was extremely difficult, and we thought long and hard about every role.
We are working on the rehearsal calendar and will email it as soon as possible.
The first rehearsal is Monday, August 26th from 3:15-5:00PM.
We are hoping to take headshots for the program on Monday as well.
Students should meet in the Schottenstein Theater at 3:15PM and we will head up to the Dargusch Theater together. Because the middle and high schools are still in session, Cassingham students need to exit the building and enter through the HS doors (Door 1) instead of crossing through the middle school. Cast members need to bring a three-ring binder, a pencil and a highlighter to every rehearsal.
