Over 70 students interviewed to be on crew for The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever. Having so many wonderful and talented students want to be involved in crew is a testament to both Stephen Hayes, who has been in charge of crew at Bexley Theatre Arts for the past 14 years, as well as the creative and collaborative nature of theatre.
Unfortunately, we could not keep everyone on crew for this production. We simply do not have enough tasks, supervision, tools or space. It is incredibly hard to cut students from crew as everyone just wants to participate and help. Students made/did not make the crew list due to some of these factors: scheduling conflicts, ability to follow orders during crew interviews, past experiences on crew (positive and negative), and amount of interest/excitement. If your name is not on this list, please check out this website to see all the other theatre opportunities offered this school year.
If your name is on the list, your first crew build day will be on Tuesday, September 6 from 3:45-5:00PM. Elementary students should meet in the Cassingham Cafeteria. There will be a parent meeting on Zoom on Sept 7th at 8:30PM. Please check your email for more information and the crew calendar.
