At every audition, my belief in the tremendous talent in the students of Bexley City Schools is reaffirmed, and the auditions for play were no exception. All students who auditioned should be commended for having the guts to go up on that stage in front of so many people and do such a great job. Casting this play was difficult, and we thought long and hard about every role.
The number of students that auditioned were nearly double the amount we had last year. While we are blessed to have such a high level of interest and talent, we did have to limit the cast to the amount of students we can safely have in rehearsals and on stage.
The rehearsal calendar will be completed shortly and will be emailed with more information soon. Cast members will receive scripts at the first rehearsal on Wednesday, March 6th from 3:30-4:30PM in the Cassingham Theater. The parent meeting for this production will be held on Zoom at 7:00PM on April 29th.
