Grades 4-5 Plays Cast List

At every audition, my belief in the tremendous talent in the students of Bexley City Schools is reaffirmed, and the auditions for play were no exception.   All students who auditioned should be commended for having the guts to go up on that stage in front of so many people and do such a great job.  Casting this play was extremely difficult, and we thought long and hard about every role.    In order to keep everyone safe, the cast has been limited to the amount of students we can safely have in rehearsals and on stage, and the number of microphones we own.  This means that we have had to make cuts.  I have been dreading casting because I am cutting not only talented performers, but also students who are hard-working, dedicated, creative, collaborative people that I would love to work with. If you were cut, please know you can still be on crew.  Please email rebecca.rhinehart@bexley.us and william.bowman@bexley.us if you want to participate in crew interviews tomorrow and need to sign up for a time slot.   I it seems like it's a long time away, but Frozen KIDS auditions will be here before you know it.

For those of you who made the cast, congratulations.  The rehearsal calendar will be completed shortly and uploaded to a Canvas page (coming soon--all cast will be invited to join) along with the script, deadlines, links to purchase apparel, and more.  Cast members will receive scripts and rehearsal calendars at the first rehearsal on Monday, August 30th from 3:45-4:30PM in the Dargusch Theater.  Students should meet in the Cassingham Cafeteria and will be escorted to the Dargusch.  Please email rebecca.rhinehart@bexley.us and william.bowman@bexley.us if a a cast member cannot attend this first rehearsal.  Rehearsal calendars will be emailed to both student and parent emails soon.

The parent meeting for this production will be held on Zoom at 7:00PM on September 1st.
Please email me at rebecca.rhinehart@bexley.us if you have any questions.  Thank you again to everyone who auditioned.  Bexley is truly a talented place!
