Middle School Plays Cast List

At every audition, my belief in the tremendous talent in the students of Bexley City Schools is reaffirmed, and the audition for this play was no exception.  Many students auditioned, and the acting was simply FABULOUS!  All students who auditioned should be commended for having the guts to audition in front of their peers.

Casting this play was extremely difficult, and we thought long and hard about every role.    In order to keep everyone safe, the cast has been limited to the amount of students we can safely have in rehearsals and on stage, and the number of microphones we own.  This means that we have had to make cuts.  I have been dreading casting because I am cutting not only talented performers, but also students who are hard-working, dedicated, creative, collaborative people that I would love to work with. The auditions were so fabulous, I even had to cut many students who I put "cast" next to in my notes.  If you were cut, please know you can still be on crew.  Please fill out the crew interview form and go to the Schottenstein Theater (HS Theater) tomorrow, Wed Sept 1st at 3:45PM.   Also keep in mind that It may seem like it's a long time away, but Freaky Friday auditions will be here before you know it.

The first rehearsal will be on Wednesday, September 8 from 5:00PM-6:00PM in the Dargusch Theater.  We will be taking pictures for the playbill and handing out scripts.  Rehearsal calendars will be emailed to both parent and student emails soon, and students will be added to a Space Princess Wars Canvas page with more information about tickets, bios, pay to play fees, meal fees, merch and more.  Please let me know if a cast member cannot attend this first rehearsal.

Thank you again to everyone who auditioned.  Bexley is truly a talented place!
